Still Here - Still Vacationing - Still Lovin' It
Just so folks know, we haven't forgotten about the blog. We've just not spent any time on it (obviously).
How do we sum up our vacation so far? Fun, family, friends & fast-paced!
Maylia's sister, Erin & Michael had a wonderful wedding. The church, a landmark of Nova Scotia's south shore, made for a gorgeous setting. All family & friends (from "both sides" at first, fast becoming 'one-side') got familiar over a moon-lit bonfire near Oak Island and a rocking reception (and the pre-reception highly professional fireworks show set the quality bar high).
p.s. Ella made for the sweetest flower girl. :)
A quick 3-day visit in New Hampshire allowed us many visits, seeing Maylia's coworkers & friends at her old workplace and some close friends in Manchester. Getting back for a much longer visit soon!
Flying to Indiana, where we are now until tomorrow (Thursday), we are super relaxing guests at the Parker farm. Feeding chickens, the two cats and fish in the family's stocked pond have been keeping Ella busy. Jeff and family got down to Indianapolis, connecting with his university friends not seen since ...a long time ago. Jeff's bud, Eric from Las Vegas, managed to connect with us here, too - while taking his cross-USA country tour! Yesterday we all visited a major dairy farm, ate very fresh ice cream, and saw a calf being born (video available upon request). All great, great times.
Let's try to post a few of many pictures. More to come (someday). Thanks for the patience.

Heading Home in 4...3...2...
I fly out of here very early Saturday morning.
It's late Wednesday night now. Time for bed.
Tomorrow (Thursday) night I'm going out with friends to see the local opening of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight.
Friday night's free... I'm thinking I should use that to pack. Or at least pull down a suitcase from our attic, start to think about what I need for that month's vacation. Yeah, that's a good idea.

Word From Nova Scotia
Jeff chats occasionally with the wife and kids back in Canada, so he'll pass it on to you.
Last few pre-wedding weeks are going as expected - busy.
On Skype, Jeff saw Ella in her 'flower girl' shoes. Can't wait to see everyone all dressed up.
Maylia and old school friends have been getting together, catching up, introducing kids to each other, going swimming.
