Mattias and Mom are Home
Hospital Stay
Wednesday afternoon I picked up May and 'our boy' (Kit: remember Mr. Kong?) after the last bit of paperwork to prepare for birth certificate registration and paid our bill.
Incidentally, costs were 60 Kc (~$3) per day for each May and Mattias. So, in countries fortunate enough to have socialized medicine, about 360 Kc or $20 will get you a baby. Being foreigners, we also opted for the "above standard," private room, for an additional 3,550 Kc (~$200) for the 3 days. Maylia spent about 4 hours in the standard room - Oh so worth it.
"Okay ...we're ready."
We're home!!
We called when we were still 10 minutes from home to let Yaya and Ella know we're coming.
Ella was pretty excited to see her brother again.

Couple videos...
Still at hospital.
At home.

Watching you with your "babies" brought the tears to my eyes, Maylia. Not being very computer experienced I didn't know I could hear you & Ella speaking so I am totally thrilled to be able to share in such a happy occasion. Bev, you must be in your glory with those beautiful Grandchildren. Give them lots of hugs & kisses from you know who (as if you have to be told to do so) Congrats to you all. Maylia, be sure to mention to Jennifer how
quickly & easily (!!) you gave birth to Mattias, just in case she is thinking along those lines.
Take Good Care and keep the up-dates coming. And oh yes, Jeff, you must be congratulated for producing a BOY for the girls are very prominate in the Kempt family.
Priceless..Welcome Home..Mattias !
So good to see you all home... Ella just loves him so!!
We are thrilled that you have a video camera, Blog, and the desire and ability to keep us much a part of this as possible.
