BREAKING NEWS: MATTIAS HAS POX
We saw the first signs last night during bathtime...two suspicious spots on his head and one blister on his back. This morning there are 7 total. Since it's fairly obvious he's caught the pox from his sister and there is nothing that can really be done for him, we probably won't make the trip to the doctor. We'll just weather the storm. So far, the storm is pretty tame. Mattias has been sleeping more than usual, has a mild fever, and is slightly less patient with his family. Otherwise he seems fine.

Can't say anyone is surprised, but our thoughts are with the little guy. I guess it is good to get it out of the way. Maybe his big sister has some encouraging words.
What a stinker! I thought he was in the clear. Sending well wishes to your sweet and adorable little boy...
It's Saturday morning - a quick update on Mattias (lovingly known here as "small pox").
Mattias seems he couldn't care less about his spots & blisters. We assume he doesn't feel any itchiness or try to scratch. His mood hasn't changed, so all's well.
We're going on a 3 day weekend to Olomouc, out in Moravia. Talk to you all later, -Jeff
